Seokguram Grotto and Bulguksa Temple

This Buddhist temple complex was established in the 8th century and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Another 70 km to the south is the Seokguram Grotto. Constructed entirely from granite, it contains a huge statue of Buddha which overlooks the sea and is considered to be a masterpiece of Buddhist art in the Far East.
