Lake Myvatn

This shallow, crystal-blue lake is encircled with sulphur springs, craters, lava fields, and bubbling mud flats. In May, September, and October, the lake is host to the most prolific varieties of geese, ducks, waders, and swans. The powerful waterfall of the Gods is 163 m high and is said to be one of Europe’s most powerful waterfalls.
